In today’s fast-paced world, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed and disconnected from the present moment. Dixi and I adopted the practice of grounding through your 5 senses this week, a simple but effective technique to help you reconnect with your body and find peace amidst chaos.


When we focus on what we can see, hear, touch, taste, and smell, it can instantly bring us back to the here and now, a baseline, calming the mind and reducing stress. This is super helpful when you feel out of control or even simply anxious or stressed and it takes maybe a minute of your time, serving as an accessible and simple addition to our lives.


Everyone has a story, and every story matters; let's make our stories count!
