Meredith’s zest and excitement for life took many years to build.  Her upbeat, infectious attitude truly makes her a magnet for others!  But Meredith had to dig herself out from debilitating sadness and depression after facing a world of degradation for the person she was.  In her 20s, newly out of school, and excited about the path ahead, her ideal life would not present itself until she walked through some of the darkest shadows.

What began as a promising career for Meredith quickly degraded in to both physical and psychological abuse in the workplace for her.  Meredith lived in fear and frustration at her job, not allowing her to be transparent and accepted as the smart and enthusiastic contributor that she is.  Deeply closeted, deeply depressed, and her confidence shook, she found herself having to take a step back from her life after a very dark time and take stock of how she arrived at this place and what she would need to do to dig out from the weeds that had engulfed her.

Meredith worked to find her people and garnered an unabashed support from her closest friends and family.  She came out as Queer, met the love of her life, and worked to find a job that would fit her and uplift her spirit without fear and tyranny.  But after a few years, she found herself in another space of degradation once again and had to process yet another situation that would leave her wondering if this was what making a living was really going to be for her.

With the love of her crew, Meredith did the emotional work to dig in to her “why” and is now living a life that she couldn’t be more grateful for.  An award winning and sought-after tour guide at Fenway Park, she spends her days connecting with others in the most vibrant of ways.  Her quick-witted spunk is a gift for all those that she reaches and her ability to be transparent and vulnerable allows others to be the same.  Without those shadow days, Meredith wouldn’t know what she needs and deserves.  Even the hardest of circumstances can bring the most beautiful life and Meredith’s work to be whole and happy is a testament to her tenacity.
