Holly McPeak’s tenacity and love for life and her endeavors has been an integral piece of her success.  Not one to shy away from a challenge, this beach volleyball Olympic medalist and acclaimed sports broadcaster has been pursuing her passion for her sport since she was young.

Being a 5’7” volleyball player brought Holly the opportunity to work hard for her goals.  As an athlete shorter in stature, the cards were stacked against her from the onset but Holly knew she could compete and dug in to show her work ethic, her drive, and her athletic ability.  Those attributes helped to carry her on to multiple state championships during her high school volleyball years as well as a successful collegiate career spanning the programs of Cal and ending at the esteemed UCLA.

Holly played competitive beach volleyball during her high school time alongside her indoor career.  While finishing up her indoor college years, Holly was selected to compete in Atlanta at the 1996 Summer Olympics, the first year that beach volleyball was considered a medal sport!  She went on to play in multiple Olympic games after that inaugural season and in 2004, Holly and her partner, Elaine Youngs, secured a bronze medal for the United States.

Holly has gone on to build and establish a thriving beach volleyball club, Elite Beach, in Manhattan Beach, California, her home town.  Not only elevating and growing the game from the juniors level in to the college level with her Elite Beach club, she is also a prominent sports commentator for both indoor and beach volleyball games on multiple mainstream platforms.  Her continued belief in going the extra mile is a contagious element that she brings to each of the athletes she works with.  This power house has moved mountains and is as humble and unassuming as they come.  Holly’s love for the game and her extensive experience is every volleyball players benefit!
