The Soul Goals, Episode 28: Lane Brody
Lane Brody is no stranger to the camera in any capacity. A renowned performer, model, and voiceover artist, her presence brings a light to every room she walks in to. Getting to the point of comfort in who she is and what she offers took a strong faith and a spirit that refused to be pushed away.
Lane decided early that she would have to advocate for herself in an era of an industry that looked at her for what she could offer rather than who she was. Along her path, she experienced discrimination and moments of devaluation simply for being her. The realization, the struggle, and the sacrifice on Lane’s part as she walked the road less traveled would ultimately end up being one of her greatest gifts as she continually returned to radical self acceptance.
Lane’s faith and her family keep her grounded and steadfast, living her life from a generous space and offering her time and efforts to those who need advocacy and a helping hand. Not only is she a loving and Christian guide to struggling young adults, she is also the CEO of Walden’s Puddle in Middle Tennessee, an organization dedicated to wildlife rehabilitation, education, conservation, and treatment. Her approach to life is to look to the beauty in all things and to know that we are guided by a greater force who will always have our backs.
Lane wakes each morning expressing her thankfulness for life and the breath that she breathes with a wonderful Glory Be To God! Her choice to follow a path of gratitude is the basis for her music and her philanthropy. This thankfulness along with her natural beauty are what makes her a true gem for her community!
